FIELD: animal farming. SUBSTANCE: animal retaining crate has base, side fences, rear movable fence, yoke and door positioned in front part of crate. Door has two leaves and yoke has three detachable parts. Two lower parts of yoke are arranged so that their position in vertical plane adjacent to upper part of door leaves may be regulated, and upper part of yoke is mounted on upper unit of crate front part so that it may be adjusted in vertical plane. Rear fence is composed of two pivotal haunches of arch, which are arranged so that their position in vertical plane may be changed. Such arrangement of yoke and haunches allows crate part sizes to be altered in accordance with size of animal. EFFECT: simplified construction, wider operational capabilities and enhanced reliability in operation. 2 cl, 9 dwg
