FIELD: textile industry, in particular, production of card slivers. SUBSTANCE: carding machine has feeding drum mounted on bed, main drum with pileate fabric zone, detachable drum with detachable device, card sliver layer, dust removal system and drive. Carding machine is further provided with hermetically sealed rectangular capsulation chamber. Main drum has grid formed of continuous plated segments, whose one side is spring-loaded and bent to form guide defining adjustable slit with grid cutoff device, and carding and waste removing device mounted in front of pileate fabric zone and having preliminary carding segments and waste removing chambers positioned in alteration. Detachable device has cleansing roller with cutoff device and waste removing nozzle. Cutoff device partially embraces cleansing roller and its edge is cooperating with piles of cleansing roller. Waste removing nozzle is formed as vortex chamber and connected with dust and tow removal system. EFFECT: increased efficiency by intensive carding of filaments and simplified construction. 5 dwg
