FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines, compressors and other machines. SUBSTANCE: translational movement of pistons 4 in housing 1 provides displacement of sliding supports 3 along guides 2 secured on housing 1 and crankpins 5 of crankshafts 6, thus providing rotation of crankshaft 6 around their axes and simultaneous orbital rotation of their axes in opposite direction around mechanism axis. Synchronization of rotation of crankshaft 6, transmission of torques between crankshafts 6 and to output shaft 7 are provided by universal joints 8 in which rotation is transmitted through rods 11 from pins 10 of one of disks 9 to pins of other disk, thus setting output shaft 7 into rotation. EFFECT: increased efficiency, reduced weight, enhanced reliability, reduced cost of manufacture owing to decrease in number of movable mechanical ties and mechanical members. 14 cl, 18 dwg
