FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: safety device has protective casing installed coaxially with shaft. Casing consists of two rigidly secured flanges and three tubular members, two of which are installed for turning relative to flanges. Third tubular member is made axially movable relative to first tubular member. Disconnecting mechanism has to shaft-forks connected by axially movable splined sleeve accommodating locking arrangement. The latter is made in form of cup with catches for quick release and rigid connection with second tubular member. Locking device is rigidly connected with third tubular member. Second and third tubular members are made in form of cylinders without projections. EFFECT: enhanced operating properties of device. 3 dwg
