METHOD FOR FISH REARING IN NURSERY POND Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: fishery, in particular, one-year and multiple-year fish rearing in ponds. SUBSTANCE: method involves rearing fish in nursery ponds in combination with auxiliary pond and aerator-flow former; stocking nursery pond with fish, concentrating; compacting, keeping and catching fish. Fish concentration is performed with the usage of auxiliary or main and auxiliary aerator-flow former, whose total capacity provides attraction of fish from the whole water area into aeration zone. Fish keeping and catching are conducted with the usage of main low-capacity aerator-flow former providing optimum power consumption, favorable conditions for prolonged fish keeping in aeration zone at controlled remoteness of water flow spreading over pond water area and regulated oxygen content in aeration zone. Auxiliary aerator-flow former is positioned adjacent to working zone of main aerator-flow former. Compaction is conducted by gradually restricting working zone of auxiliary aerator-flow former with following switching it off and by gradually reducing working zone of main aerator-flow former and switching it off for short time (1-2 days). EFFECT: reduced power consumption, improved fish keeping conditions, increased catch yield in small and large ponds in which natural fish concentration areas are preliminarily separated from auxiliary pond prior to asphyxiation. 3 cl, 1 dwg, 2 ex
