FIELD: building lift door construction. SUBSTANCE: lift door has leaves composed of at least two horizontal sections movable along guides. Driving section of leaf has two restricting-pushing members mounted for displacement in horizontal plane and fixation in predetermined position. When leaf is opened, restricting-pushing member of section is kinematically engageable with related restricting member, when leaf is closed, restricting-pushing member is engageable with thrust fixed on driven section. In case door leaf has more than two sections, each intermediate driving-driven section has restricting-pushing member and thrust which are kinematically engageable during opening and closing of leaf with respective restricting member of driving section. Section is further provided with two restricting-pushing members which are kinematically engageable with respective restricting member, when leaf is opened, and with thrust of subsequent driving-driven or driven section, when leaf is closed. Displacement of driven and each driven-driving section along guides in horizontal plane during opening and closing of leaf is restricted by respective thrust mounted for displacement in horizontal plane. Such construction allows lift door opening and shaft opening to be regulated. EFFECT: increased efficiency and enhanced reliability in operation. 8 cl, 2 dwg
