FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: described is method of preparing aromatic hydrocarbons from oil gas using reaction of dehydrocyclization of C₃₊ components of raw stock on zeolite-containing catalysts in which stream flowing out of reaction zone and containing hydrogen, C₁-C₄ alkanes and aromatic C₆₊ hydrocarbons is admitted into separation zone and vapor phase stream containing hydrogen and methane is withdrawn from separation zone and liquid phase stream I containing propane, butane and aromatic C₆₊ hydrocarbons and stream I are admitted into fractionation zone and it is separated into stream II containing propane and butane and steam I containing aromatic C₆₊ hydrocarbons and stream II are admitted into dehydrocyclodimerization reaction zone operating under dehydrocyclodimerization conditions to form stream flowing out of reaction zone. Vapor-phase stream from separation zone contains ethane and raw stock containing C₁-C₄ alkanes and part of vapor phase stream from separation zone are admitted into reaction zone.
