FIELD: petroleum processing and petrochemistry. SUBSTANCE: raw material containing at least one C2-C4-olefin is fed into reaction zone with fixed acid catalyst based on pentasil-group zeolites. Olefin oligomerization reaction is carried out to yield stream of products containing gasoline hydrocarbons containing at least 5 carbon atoms. The stream is separated into gasoline and C1-C4-hydrocarbon stream. The latter is then combined with initial raw material. Olefin-containing raw material is combined with reforming gasoline fraction boiling away not above 85 C and containing benzene, olefin/benzene molar ratio in final mixture being at least 0.5. Oligomerization reaction is conducted under conditions assuring alkylation of at least part of benzene. EFFECT: reduced amount of produced gases (methane and ethane). 11 cl, 2 dwg, 1 tbl
