FIELD: railway track repair and maintenance machinery and equipment. SUBSTANCE: Frame of lift is made in the form of load-bearing beam consisting of two halves which are rigidly connected to each other through current-insulating inserts. Mounted on load-bearing beam are two hydraulic cylinders. Each hydraulic cylinder is mounted by means of cross-member and can turn on it. Arranged inside load-bearing beam is seat for placing of hydraulic cylinders in transport position. Rail grips are made in the form of supporting brackets and they are pivotally installed on each end of load-bearing beam. Chassis is mounted on bodies of grips. Lift is provided with adjustable clamping device for gripping of rail and carrying it in horizontal plane. Lift Is adapted for location in space between rails in folded position. Height of lift is not larger than road clearance under running train. Lift is designed with taking account of need to quickly fold Hydraulic cylinders inside load-bearing beam and bring its overall height To dimensions close to height of rail to allow for unobstructed passing of Moving train.
