FIELD: conversion of river-water and wave energy into electricity. SUBSTANCE: plant has water intake duct installed in stream at river bank, its cross-sectional area reducing along flow; this duct is connected to rectangular-section water conduit assembled of unified working parts. Side walls of these parts have closed holes receiving running blades of vertical axial-flow encapsulated hydraulic-turbine generators placed in barrels with working chambers mounted on mobile platforms displacing over supporting stages attached to working parts. All components of power plant may be mounted on river bottom downstream of lower level of freeze-up elevation which makes it possible to use this plant in freezing water reservoirs. Water intake duct may be mounted to face waves moving towards bank and water conduit may be arranged along bank line which provides for converting energy of waves moving towards bank of water reservoir. EFFECT: improved power capacity and operating reliability of plant. 4 cl, 7 dwg
