FIELD: medicine, namely stomatology. SUBSTANCE: device has body made as U-shaped mouthpiece each vertical wall of which carries two pairs of contact heads mounted loosely. Every contact head is coupled kinematically with cantilever end of flexible member, other end of which is secured in upper part of mouthpiece. Vertical ledge of the latter is provided with two adjustable rests for compensation of patient's tooth height. Contact head is made as rod, one end face of which interacts with mucous membrane of alveolar processes of patient's jaws and serves as sensing element. Other end face is connected to test and measuring equipment. End-face sensing element is polished, contact heads are positioned in mouthpiece at distance of two diameter of sensing element from each other. Lower part of mouthpiece is provided with indicators of its orientation in patient's mouth cavity. Sensing element of contact head is of round shape with diameter of 5.5 mm (its area is 23.7 sq.mm). Device makes it possible to enhanced measurement accuracy of parodontium tissue impedance and to limit pressure on mucous membrane to 3 g. Given device sets doctor free of necessity to check position of U-shaped mouthpiece in mouth cavity of patient. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of measurement. 3 cl, 4 dwg
