FIELD: chemical industry, more particularly "drop in" substitute of coolant which is used in refrigerating, domestic, trade and industrial equipment. SUBSTANCE: described is coolant composition comprising difluoromonochloromethane (R22), dischloromonofluoromethane (R21) and tetrafluoroethane (R134a). Composition further comprises difluoroethane (R152a) or 1-chloro, 1,1-difluoroethane (142b) ratios of components being as follows, wt %: difluoromonochloromethane (R22), 45-70; dichloromonofluoromethane (R21), 3-25; tetrafluorethane (R134a), 0.1-15; difluoroethane (R152a), 0.1-20; or 1- chloro, 1,1-difluoroethane (R142b), 0.1-35. EFFECT: ozone-saving coolant composition and "drop in" substitute of coolant 12 which keeps refrigerating equipment employing coolant 12 serviceable. 3 cl, 2 dwg, 1 tbl
