FIELD: refrigerating systems. SUBSTANCE: the coolant composition comprises dichloromonofluoromethane and least one fluoroalkyl compound selected from the group consisting of trifluoromethane, pentafluoroethane, monochlorodifluoromethane and 1-chloro-1,1-difluoroethane, the ratio of the components being as follows (wt % ): 0.1-50.0 dichloromonofluoromethane; and 50.0-99.9 at least one fluoroalkyl compound. The composition comprises as a fluoroalkyl compound trifluoromethane and/or pentafluoroethane or monochlorodifluoromethane and/or 1-chloro-1,1-difluoroethane. The optimum content of dichloromonofluoromethane is 30-50 wt % . The ratio of the composition components is as follows (wt % ): 2-12 dichloromonofluoromethane; 50-93 monochlorodifluoromethane; and 5-48 1-chloro-1,1-difluoroethane.
