SUBSTANCE: described is bitumen composition for preparing coatings comprising bitumen, solvent and modifying additive. Modifying additive is nonionic surfactant which is product of reaction of mixture of synthetic fatty acids containing C₅ to C₄₀ alkyls and mixture of alkylpyridines of general formula I wherein R is R_1-5= C₁-C₁₂ alkyl or hydrogen; R¹ is C₅-C₄₀ alkyl, ratios of components being as follows, wt %: bitumen 35.0-65.0; non-ionic surfactant of formula mentioned above, 3.6-7.0; and the solvent balance.
