FIELD: anticorrosive materials. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to protective and anticorrosive materials obtained by impregnation and finding use in protecting metal cable shells against corrosion and mechanical damages. Uniform impregnation and improved antiseptic characteristics are achieved by impregnating paper base with solution of copper naphthenate or condensation product of polyethylenepolyamine and resin acids or synthetic fatty acids in mineral oil and then with bitumen at specified proportions of components. Colophony can be used as resin acids and cable oil as mineral oil. EFFECT: facilitated operation and increased antiseptic characteristics. 3 cl, 2 tbl
