FIELD: textile industry, in particular, washing of newly formed movable chemical filament. SUBSTANCE: method involves supplying washing liquid in the form of drops of equal diameter to thread at predetermined speed; acting upon predetermined point of thread by two sequentially supplied drops, with one drop being directed at an acute angle to direction of movement of thread and other drop being charged in acyclic mode and deviated by electric field in the direction of movement of thread. Thread is moved from bottom to top at an angle to vertical plane. EFFECT: reduced consumption of washing liquid, increased intensity and improved automatization of washing process. 2 dwg
