FIELD: veterinary science. SUBSTANCE: preparation is obtained by an aqueous extraction of wood bark (pine, spruce, larch, willow) and other vegetable raw and it has polyphenolic compounds (tannin and tannids 33-73 wt. -%, flavonoids showing P-vitamin activity 3-10 wt.-% of dry matter of the preparation, soluble carbohydrates: mono-, oligo- and polysaccharides - the rest). The preparation is dissolved in boiled water at ratio 1:20 and used by oral route at the dose 70.5-71.5 mg/kg of living mass from the first feeding after the birth (3 times per 24 h for 5 days) for prophylactic aim and at the dose 106.5-107.5 mg/kg (3 times per 24 h up to recover) for curative aim. Invention can be used for prophylaxis and treatment of agriculture young animals with gastroenteric sicknesses and diarrhea symptoms (dyspepsia, gastritis, gastroenteritis, gastroentero-colitis).
