FIELD: cattle breeding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to livestock sector, in particular to a method for treating dyspepsia in calves. Method is characterized by that calves with milk or colostrum are given tincture of dried vegetal raw material of smoketree and sumac, which is used in amount of 20 ml per 1 kg of weight 2–3 times day for 5 days with simultaneous intramuscular introduction of Tetravit 3 ml/head with interval of 5 days. For production of tincture, smoketree collection and sumac, ethyl alcohol, sodium chloride, distilled water at specified ratio are taken.
EFFECT: using the invention enables reducing the length of treatment, providing higher clinical effectiveness and eliminating side effects.
