AIR DISTRIBUTOR FOR INDIRECTLY ACTING PNEUMATIC BRAKES OF ROLLING STOCK Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: air distributors for pneumatic brakes. SUBSTANCE: air distributor includes two-degree pressure member having piston set in motion under action pressure of first chamber and pressure removed from it in second chamber. This member includes also passage which is connected with main air line by means of change-over joint. Device is also provided with air distributor of three pressure stages which includes first piston loaded by pressure from control chamber and inlet pressure from third chamber. First piston is connected with second piston loaded by initial pressure of brake cylinders. Second piston ensures during motion alternating opening and closing of joint from compressed air reservoir to initial pressure of brake cylinder or from this cylinder to atmosphere. Accelerating device of air distributor provides for communication of this chamber with atmosphere or with braking main additional discharge chamber. Air distributor is provided with additional member and third chamber is communicated with main air line. Control chamber is communicated with member of two pressure stages. First chamber is communicated with main air line. Third chamber is connected with second chamber; joint of third chamber with main air line through valve is directed to additional member. EFFECT: strict compliance of air distributor with requirements of International Railway Union for 1520-mm gauge. 9 cl, 5 dwg
