FIELD: space engineering; cleaning space from passive space vehicles and their fragments. SUBSTANCE: according to invention, space cleaning vehicle has electric engine plant (mainly nuclear plant with electric rocket engines) and several service systems. Besides that, it is provided with system for locking and storage of large space debris, as well as with self-contained space vehicle connected with it by cabling. Self-contained space vehicle maneuvers by means of high-thrust rocket engines and/or cabling approaching to space debris. After delivery of space debris to main space vehicle, they are transferred to above-mentioned locking and storage by means of automatic manipulators. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of cleaning the space due to reduced consumption of fuel at approaching phases and gripping the objects. 1 dwg
