FIELD: petrochemistry. SUBSTANCE: petroleum distillates are subjected to hydroparafinization in the presence of catalyst comprising high-silica zeolite, hydrogenating components, and binder. Deparaffinized product is stabilized to obtain catalysate which is final product. Original petroleum distillate in admixture with stabilized deparaffinized distillate in amount of 5-95% based on original distillate is subjected to catalyst hydrodeparaffinization. Original distillate in admixture with stabilized deparaffinized catalysate or directly distilled gasoline fraction is subjected preferably to catalytic hydrodeparaffinization. The latter has boiling point of 62 C and is used in amount of up to 10 wt % based on mixture. Catalytic hydrodeparaffinization is carried out at 280-420 C, pressure of 3-10 MPa and hydrogen-containing gas to stock ratio is 200-1500 cubic nm/cubic m. EFFECT: longer interregeneration cycle of catalyst life, improved quality of the desired product and increased yield thereof. 3 cl, 8 ex, 1 tbl
