FIELD: methods applicable in cyanide leaching of noble metals from ores, concentrates and technogenic wastes and in rendering harmless of cyanides used in process. SUBSTANCE: method of rendering harmless of cyanides is realized by their regeneration with the help of concentrated sulfuric acid and heating of solution volume in rector due to exothermic energy of sulfuric acid hydration. Hydrogen cyanide liberating in this case, is directed for formation of alkali metal cyanide repeatedly used in process of leaching of ores, concentrates and technogenic wastes. The invention allows multiple use in process of expensive cyanide of alkali metal, prevention of its discharge together with production wastes, recovery of residual content of nonferrous metals from rendered harmless solution and pulps and exclusion of air utilization for blowing of hydrogen cyanide.
