FIELD: chemical industry; methods of neutralization of the cyanide-containing and thiocyanate-containing waste waters.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the method of neutralization of the cyanide-containing and thiocyanate-containing waste waters and may be used for neutralization of the liquid phase tailings of the process of the cyanide leaching of the noble metals from the ores, concentrates and technogenic wastes. The method of neutralization of the cyanide-containing and the thiocyanate-containing waste waters consists in their acidation with the sulphuric acid up to the medium рН = 2-4 with the subsequent flushing by the air of the formed hydrogen cyanide. At that for realization of the processes of the flushing and the hydrogen cyanide absorption use the centrifugally-bubble apparatuses. The processes of the flushing and the hydrogen cyanide absorption are conducted in the continuous mode with duration of treatment of the solutions in the reaction zone of the centrifugally-bubble apparatus less than 1 minute. The sulfuric acid is batched into the feeding main coming to the centrifugally-bubble apparatus. The technical result of the invention is the increased effectiveness of the neutralization of the cyanide-containing waste waters and the thiocyanate-containing waste waters, reduction of the oxidant consumption at the final phase of the neutralization of the spent technological solutions of the cyanide leaching of the noble metals.

EFFECT: the invention ensures the increased effectiveness of the neutralization of the cyanide-containing waste waters and the thiocyanate-containing waste waters, reduction of the oxidant consumption at the final phase of the neutralization of the spent technological solutions of the cyanide leaching of the noble metals.
