FIELD: hydraulic engineering. SUBSTANCE: this can be used in construction of irrigation systems. In erection of structure, assembled is flexible spillway consisting of flexible upstream floor and flexible rear apron. Arranged in beginning of flexible upstream floor is flexible tooth which is placed in preliminary made trench and is compacted there. In assembling of structure components, attached to rigid fastening unit located on flexible upstream floor are central spillway, side wings, and holding plate, also aerator is installed. Aerator is made in the form of perforated pipe which is installed between central spillway and holding plate. Central spillway is made of flexible material and is connected by flexible links to side wings for its possible displacement and resting on holding plate. Ready structure is installed in stream bed by means of mechanical facilities for example pontoons or hoisting machines. Application of aforesaid structure and method of its erection ensures high efficiency and reliability of operations, also better operating conditions due to creation of extensive aeration zones.
