FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: harmonic drive with flexible link has following components: housing, harmonic wave generator with gear wheels, driving wheel, internal meshing wheel, sprocket wheels (pulleys), flexible link in the form of roller chain or toothed belt, and driven sprocket wheel (driven pulley). Sprocket wheels (pulleys) are arranged in units of wave generator gear wheels and they are of same diameters as gear wheels and are installed in parallel planes. Axles of units are connected by carrier member. Internal meshing wheel interacts with gear wheels of wave generator and sprocket wheels (pulleys). Aforesaid arrangement of harmonic drive wave generator increases angle of wave generator embracing by flexible link, also load-bearing capacity is enhanced, slipping is prevented, manufacture and operation are simplified.
