FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: in proposed harmonic drive gear sector 4 is installed in housing 3 for turning and radial displacement relative to axis of drive shaft 2. Driven flexible tie is made either in form of serrated belt or roller or toothed chain or wavy resilient metal tape. Flexible tie encloses wave generator 1 mounted on drive shaft 2 and driven pulley or driven sprocket and engages with gear sector 4.
