FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves treating patient sweat sample with strong acid cationites in acid form in the presence of acid-base indicator agent. First of all, the strong acid cationites are washed with distilled water to achieve neutral reaction state. Sodium chloride concentration is determined using spectrophotometer. The cases of mucoviscidosis are diagnosed by detecting increased sodium chloride concentration in patient sweat. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy in determining functional disorders of chloride channel in cell membranes; accelerated method.
