FIELD: communication equipment. SUBSTANCE: instead on incoherent accumulation method involves correlation of results of signal processing for adjacent almost coherent intervals, thus generating set of complex correlation coefficients. Then method involves selection of maximal absolute value of set of complex correlation coefficients to use it as output value. In this case result of correlation to complex harmonic signal, which frequency is closest to input demodulated signal reaches result of coherent signal processing for complete detection interval. This results in increased efficiency of noise suppression. Corresponding device can have two implementations. Device has two quadrature channels for received signal processing, each of which has serial circuit of first multiplier, low-pass filter, second multiplier, and adder. In addition device has phase shifter, carrier oscillator, reference signal generator and threshold comparison gate. In addition device has generator of sequences of samples of complex harmonic signals, unit for generation of complex correlation coefficients, unit for calculation of absolute values of complex correlation coefficients, and maximum selection unit.
