FIELD: agriculture and biotechnology, in particular, artificial growing of edible higher basidial mushrooms, such as oyster mushrooms. SUBSTANCE: method involves providing preparing and thermal treatment of lignocellulose agricultural and lumber wastes; introducing mycelium and forming mushroom blocks; making recesses in sides of blocks; growing mushrooms at air humidity of 50-70%, 0.3-0.7-multiple returnable air exchange per hour and air flow speed of 0.02 - 0.12 m/s without irrigation. Among lumber wastes coniferous tree working wastes are preferable. Recesses made in sides of blocks are of 5-10 cm length. Method allows mushroom development cycle to be reduced by 2-2.5 times. EFFECT: increased efficiency by increased number of returns. 3 cl
