FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: described is aqueous composition in the form of dispersion comprising perfluorohydrocarbon resin and binder comprising polyamido acid and polyphenylene sulfide. Perfluorohydrocarbon resin includes two perfluorohydrocarbon polymers one of which has melt viscosity of at least 105 Pa.s, and the other polymer has melt viscosity of 102-107 Pa. s, and melt viscosity of first polymer is at least by 102 Pa.s greater than melt viscosity of second polymer at weight ratio of 50-85% of first polymer and 10-50 % of second polymer, and at polyamido acid to polyphenylene sulfide ratio which makes it possible to attain weight ratio of the resulting polyamidoimide to polyphenylene sulfide in hardened coating at 3: 1-1:3 and at weight ratio of fluoropolymer to binder in hardened coating at 2:1-1:1. Also described are coated substrate and method of applying coatings. EFFECT: composition having optimum characteristics is applied onto smooth substrates by means of rolls. 14 cl, 3 ex
