FIELD: evacuation technique. SUBSTANCE: area of minimum section of ejector mixing chamber is found from the following mathematical expression: where F is area is minimum section of mixing chamber (sq mm); k is coefficient ((mm2•s3/dm3•m1,5)); O is volumetric flow rate of liquid medium via nozzle (cu dm/s); γ is density of liquid medium fed to nozzle (kg/cu m); Pl is pressure of liquid medium at nozzle inlet (Pa); g is free fall acceleration (m/sq.s); magnitude of coefficient "k" ranges from 1.6 mm2•s3/dm3•m1,5 to 60 mm2•s3/dm3•m1,5 at ratio of nozzle inlet pressure to mixing chamber outlet pressure ranging from 1.4 to 25 and from 60 60 mm2•s3/dm3•m1,5 to 2200 mm2•s3/dm3•m1,5 at ratio of nozzle inlet pressure to mixing chamber outlet pressure ranging from 25 to 5000.
