FIELD: medicine, ophthalmology. SUBSTANCE: invention proposes a novel agent for treatment of traumatic conjunctivitis, blepharoconjunctivitis and keratitis. This agent is the polyvalent purified liquid pyobacteriophage. An agent shows not only the known antibacterial properties but anti-inflammatory and reparative properties also, it increases immunoglobulin concentration in tear and amount of active neutrophiles. Invention ensures to broaden the arsenal of drugs used for treatment of patients with traumatic bacterial conjunctivitis, blepharoconjunctivitis and keratitis. An agent does not cause allergic responses and irritation of eye mucosa. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of an agent, absence of adverse effects.
