FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmology, and aims at treating acute and chronic inflammatory eye diseases caused by viral, bacterial, allergic, metabolic or traumatic factors. Eye gel-like drops contain human recombinant interferon specified in the group: alpha-, beta-, gamma-interferon or their mixture; boric acid; phosphate buffer; sodium hyaluronate; taurine; cyanocobalamin or hydroxoxobalamin; dexpanthenol; an antihistamine preparation selected from: olopatidine, azelastine or levocabastine; and water. Components are used in claimed amounts.
EFFECT: use of the invention allows improving the treating properties of physiologically active substances without the need to increase their concentration with simultaneous reduction of the probability of undesirable side effects.
