FIELD: mechanical engineering; loading devices. SUBSTANCE: loading device for logging tractor has winch 1, guide sheave 2 with winch cable and loading shield installed on tractor frame. Shield has stationary platform 4 and movable part installed for turning in vertical plane by hydraulic cylinder. Roller 6 is installed on end of movable part. Movable part consists of two articulated platforms, upper and lower one. Upper platform 8 is hinge connected with tractor frame. Lower platform 11 is hinge-connected with levers hinge coupled with tractor frame. Hydraulically controlled movable part can be set in travelling position and in operating position. Shock absorbing rubber pads in rear part of fractor frame serve as additional support for upper platform when loading timber on tractor.
