FIELD: cleaning waste water from oil products and suspended particles. SUBSTANCE: method involves coarse cleaning by means of plate coagulator and coalescent oil separator, intermediate cleaning by means of column filter, and fine cleaning of part of water conveyed to municipal manifold by passing it through membrane module. Plant implementing this method has inclined-bottom intake tank whose walls mount sprinkles, coarse cleaning unit incorporating coagulator and coalescent inclined-bottom oil separator, intermediate cleaning unit in the form of removable-cartridge column filter connected through water intake chamber and buffer tank in the form of membrane module to ceramic filter element.
