UNIT FOR CONNECTION OF BUILDING FRAMEWORK COMPONENTS Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: this can be used in construction of stained-glass walls, skylights, and other similar structures. Unit for connection of building framework components has profiled linear members butted tight to each other, connecting insert, and fastening parts. Connecting insert is rigidly secured on profile of first linear member. Made in profile of second linear member and in part of connecting insert adjoining this profile is rectangular hole and/or slot, into which wedge-shaped prism is inserted. Plane of prism remote from joint of linear members is made as normal with respect to longitudinal axis of profiled member. Opposite plane of wedge-shaped prism is located at angle of 3-12 deg with respect to first plane and it rests against edge of hole created in profiled member. Wedge-shaped prism is secured on insert by fastening part which is inserted through profile of linear member. Profiled members can be located relative to each other at angle of 15-180 deg. Application of aforesaid embodiment of unit allows for doing away with clearances occurring at joining of profiled members. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 10 cl, 7 dwg
