FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: joining unit has door or window with rabbet ledge and stained-glass wall with jamb, elastic central sealing strip and elastic external sealing strip, both are with holders and thermal-insulating spacers. Door or window and stained-glass wall are made of profiled metal members which create external perimeter and internal perimeter of stained-glass window. Jamb or rabbet ledge are provided with thrust strip. Secured on thrust strip is additional external sealing member. This additional sealing member can come in contact with surface of rabbet ledge or jamb simultaneously with contact of central sealing strip and main external sealing strip with rabbet ledge and thermal-insulating spacer. Central sealing strip and external sealing strip together with thermal-insulating spacers and profiled metal members create two spaces which are isolated from each other and from external medium. Grips of central elastic sealing strip are fastened on profiled metal members which create external perimeter and internal perimeter of stained-glass wall. Locking devices are mounted on profiled metal members which create space together with elastic sealing strips at side of internal surface of door or window. Application of aforesaid embodiment of joining unit allows for improving thermal insulation of places where door or window units are installed. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 1 dwg
