FIELD: radio electronics; information displays. SUBSTANCE: thin-film electroluminescent displays are produced by making depressions in transparent insulating substrate using photolithography technique that follow configuration of lower contacts for first electrodes; then a number of layers of luminescent structure are sequentially applied, lift-off photolithography operation is made, additional conducting layer is applied, and upper contacts for second electrodes as well as second electrodes proper are made using selective etching technique.
