FIELD: agriculture, microbiology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agents used for protection of plants from sicknesses, in part, the new strain of bacterium Pseudomonas chlororaphis to obtain this agent and its using. The strain Pseudomonas chlororaphis NCIMB 40616 shows activity against fungi of genus Drechslera, Microdochium, Tilletia and Ustilago. For control of fungal sicknesses in plants the strain can be used in combination with liquid or solid porous carrier and sticky additions. The above indicated agent can be applied on seeds, plants or added to medium where plant grows or has to grow. The agent ensures to protect plants from the above indicated pathogens of sicknesses.
