FIELD: biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to controlling one or more plant pathogens, wherein at least one plant pathogen is a fungus. Disclosed is a composition comprising an effective amount of (a) a biological control agent, which is a strain of Pseudomonas chlororaphis NRRL No. B-50897, where the strain is live, and (b) a pesticide, a fungicide, an insecticide or an herbicide, wherein said composition is battling one or more plant pathogens, wherein at least one plant pathogen is a fungus. What is also presented is a method for controlling one or more pathogens of plants, wherein at least one plant pathogen is a fungus, which includes depositing an effective amount of said composition on an agricultural crop, a seed or an area of cultivation. Disclosed also is a plant pathogen control composition comprising an effective amount of a biological control agent which is a living strain of Pseudomonas chlororaphis NRRL No. B-50897, where the plant pathogen is a fungus. Invention also discloses a method of growing a plant and a method for controlling a plant pathogen using said biological control apparatus. Composition, compound and biological control agent are used for seed coating.

EFFECT: invention provides effective protection of plants against pathogens and stimulates plant growth, increases competitiveness of biocontrol with other microbial strains and fungi.
