FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves introducing needle into myofascial trigger point for pumping-in a dose of gas at constant discharge rate of 1 ml/s with total amount being equal to 6.49 ± 0.16 ml until pressure growth recorded with manometer, stops. Its mean value being 137.77 ± 3.09 mm of mercury column, myofascial structures building the trigger zone are defined as strong and stiff when compared to indifferent tissues in which the pressure is equal to 86.66 ± 2.19 mm of mercury column under the like changes.
