FIELD: water transport, transportation of icebergs from arctic seas to arid zones. SUBSTANCE: complex includes transport ships and pull rope. Four submarines or for surface ships are used as transport ships. Each of two leading submarines or each of two leading ships are equipped with four marine engines and four propellers, two on either side and two hollow protective coupling shields with tenons swinging on hinges, one shield on either side. Two other submarines or two other ships are provided with hooks welded to them for thimbles of pull rope to whose center plates with tenons are secured. To hold pull rope in center of iceberg height, floats are secured to them; these floats are held by ropes whose length is equal to half-height of iceberg. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of towing icebergs at any state of sea. 5 dwg
