FIELD: manufacture of building materials. SUBSTANCE: new sheet material suitable for using as floor coating in the form of solid wear-resistant material contains polymer resin homogeneously mixed with at least one additive including inorganic filler. Polymer resin, in turn, contains polyalkylene resin with relatively narrow molecular weight distribution limits (less than 3), low degree of long chain branching, and is prepared by polymerization of at least one linear, branched, or cyclic alkylene with 2 to 20 carbon atoms on single- site catalyst, said polyalkylene being further characterized by melt index 0.1 to 100, density 0.86-0.97, and index of rheological properties 0.1 to 6.0. The latter index characterizes long chain branching measured by comparing right-hand shift (because of long relaxation time) in respect to polymer resin with zero long chain branching in diagram wherein zero shift viscosity is plotted versus relaxation time (both parameters are taken from transverse-direction viscosity).
