FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: work platforms for construction scaffolding are made of light-weight components, platforms are well operable and are easy to stack. All those requirements are included in static calculation for long service life. High rigidity of corner units of rectangular load-bearing frame of work platform is as important as possibility of minimal intervals between work platforms which are boundaring each other. Cost of such work platform is limited due to less number of construction components. In design of work platform, used in addition to load-bearing frame is U-shaped flanged metal sheet for walk which is secured between longitudinal beams of load-bearing frame. At least longitudinal beams can be made in the form of rectangular hollow-profile members and it prevents settling of dirt or waste of construction materials. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 10 cl, 8 dwg
