FIELD: fire-fighting technology. SUBSTANCE: method implies delivery of fire-fighting material to fire core at supersonic speed. Used in function of fire-fighting material is stream of inhibiting aerosol in amount ensuring fire-fighting concentration in burning zone. Stream is brought under base of flame torch. Method is realized by means device which has body closed by cover in its bottom part. Arranged inside body are following components: at least one solid-fuel block made of aerosol-creating fire-fighting composition, igniting unit, screen for fixing of solid-fuel block, and means that is nozzle for discharge of burning products. Aforesaid nozzle ensures supersonic outcome of aerosol. Fire-fighting system beside aerosol generators also includes fire-fighting facilities of any type which deliver additional cooling media for cooling of structures around flame torch. System includes fire-detection means. System is of compact-size, reliable in operation and is effective as fire-fighting facility.
