FIELD: gas turbines. SUBSTANCE: burner has a catalytic combustion chamber. In the direction of fuel flow the combustion chamber has mainly a cylindrical extent and comprises a catalytically active coating for fuel oxidation on the fuel facing wall. The combustion chamber is made for supply of fuel containing the main fuel flown preliminarily formed partial flow of fuel and air. For preliminary formation provision is made for a catalytic stage of preliminary formation flown about by partial fuel flow and decomposing the fuel at least partially into inflammable substances, in particular, alcohols, aldehydes or hydrogen. For inlet of preliminarily formed, partial fuel flow mixed, if necessary, with air, the combustion chamber wall is provided with holes. Due to catalytically induced burning of fuel, especially low content of nitric oxides in the burner exhaust gas is attained. At the same time, due to the wall coating, the resistance to flow in the burner, in contradistinction to the primary measures for reducing the content of nitric oxides, does not increases. EFFECT: higher efficiency at simultaneously low emission of nitric acids. 5 cl, 3 dwg
