FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: burner includes auxiliary combustion chamber and refractory arch, namely to be used in gas turbine engine. Auxiliary combustion chamber has axisymmetrical walls restricting the combustion space together with outlet on the downstream end. Combustion space is provided with fuel and air mixture formation means, at that, the above mixture is rich in fuel concentration, and with combustion devices of the above fuel for formation of flow of nonequilibrium unblocked concentration of radicals. Flow temperature has increased to the values higher than 2000 K. At the outlet of auxiliary combustion chamber three located is a throat by means of which the above flow is directed to axial line of auxiliary combustion chamber and discharged along axial line at the outlet of auxiliary combustion chamber. Throat is designed for creation of two separate combustion zones. Refractory arch is located after the throat of auxiliary combustion chamber in the flow direction. Burner fuel combustion method involves formation of fuel and air mixture which is rich in fuel inside the above auxiliary combustion chamber; combustion of the above fuel for formation of flow of nonequilibrium unblocked concentration of radicals. Flow temperature has increased to the values higher than 2000 K in auxiliary combustion zone. The above flow of radicals is directed to axial line of auxiliary combustion chamber by means of throat located before outlet of auxiliary combustion chamber in the flow direction. The above flow of radicals is discharged along axial line at auxiliary combustion chamber outlet to the main combustion space which is different from auxiliary combustion zone.
EFFECT: available uniform mixing profiles at the outlet of channels for preliminary formation of poor mixtures.
