FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves studying broncho-alveolar lavage liquid. Mononuclear migration inhibition reaction in the presence of phytohemagglutinin (PHA) is set in addition. Mononuclear migration inhibition index is calculated from formula MII = (1- migration under PHA / migration without PHA)*100%. Oxalate contents in the broncho-alveolar lavage liquid and in urine is measured. Oxalate contents in the broncho-alveolar lavage liquid being twice or more as high as that in the urine and mononuclear MII being negative, oxalate form of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease is to be diagnosed. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in diagnosing oxalate form of the disease; selected pathogenetically reasonable therapy method.
