FIELD: production of special musical effects. SUBSTANCE: device has signal data generation unit, which is designed for generation of tonal signal, and sound effect application unit, which is designed as, for example, digital sound processor, and serves for adding sound effects to tonal signal data which are produced by signal data generation unit using modulation signal data. When sound effects are added to tonal signal data, processor performs multiple multiplication and addition of received tonal signal data and signal data. Tonal signal data are transmitted to signal data generation unit and are used as signal data. Thus, sound effects are added to generated tonal signal data using applied tonal signal data. EFFECT: simplified design, i.e. possibility to generate musical tones using minimal number of circuits, and easy alteration of level and type of sound effect. 14 cl, 22 dwg
