SUBSTANCE: double-module cross-discharge laser whose radiator is essentially closed gas dynamic circuit has gas- discharge channel, heat-transfer apparatus, pumping device, and intermediate connecting sections; section between front of electrodes and inlet to heat-transfer apparatus is made in the form of stepped diffuser with metal partition walls mounted in gradually expanding section of diffuser; electrode system , metal partition walls, and gradually expanding diffuser section walls are insulated from case.
